    The first of those is a very atmospheric shot. Thank you. The weather and the dull light brings out the drifting steam and the headlight. Not all steam loco photos need to be 3/4 front views in bright sunshine and lovely green countryside! IMHO.

    Thanks for the comments, I had to discard quite a few others, the wet conditions in the cutting/tunnel and the presence of a HST played havoc with the focusing.
