What are the plans for Prince now? Will she be overhauled or will the old girl be rested and restored at a later date?

Off to the SVR until the end of the year, then back home. It's very unlikely the old girl won't be in steam for her 150th, but there are, shall we say, very interesting other restoration projects coming down the track. I would tell you more but would then have to kill you.

    Watch this space.

According to the official web page news it should be back for the 150th,
    http://www.ffestiniograilway.co.uk/news.asp?cat=1&dismode=article&msel=m52010&artid=387

"This will be your last chance to see Prince in action for a couple of years. Subject to fundraising, it is expected that Prince will be overhauled and returned to traffic in time for his 150th anniversary in 2013. It is anticipated that Prince, the oldest working steam locomotive in the world, will spend some time at the Severn Valley Railway's Engine House at Highley this Summer, flying the flag for the Ffestiniog Railway."
