Well, It will play a big part in the steam rally, as the second platform to our (possibly 2) steam locos planned. They will get on at the wooden platfrom be deilivered to the cattle platform and dropped into the middle where the steam traction engines will be.
I do hope that we put back the granite stone or restore it, it is unique.

Oh right, 2 months till the steam rally to do the cattle plat. The signal box will probs be next year, track at the platform next year, Sidings next year or year after so about 4 years for everything.

Ha ha all sounds good. Do you recon youll ever connect with the nnr or mnr? or both haha, now that would be amazing. Its nice to see so much enthusiasm and willing to let the general public know the plans. so many railway groups are so secretive and you ask a question and get your head bitten off.

lol well, probley not suppose to say, But I like news and updates and the website doesnt do it much, but this is a railway forum so its not quite the public. It would be very nice to meet up with other railways as the old M&GN line and GER. But tbh dont really tell people about other plans, some of them may not happen so no use getting hopes up.

Oh and also news im at the minute making a 00 scale version of the station, its failing but I am trying.

Well with the orbital railway wanting to move in we would join up at melton, but thats not likely to happen soon, so We might go to Reepham station or lenwade.

That line was been one of the worst hit from farmers eager to link up land again.

Yeah, Thats Marriots way, the cycle path, Which Is about all I can tell you. All the line is there appart from one station that is private and one that is now an indus estate. but we will get to that when we are there. There are many bridges gone that are inbetween crossing and bridge height. "If" we were to build on the line we would move Marriots way over abit like bure vally have done. thuss coming to a compromise.
There is so much more that I wish I could tell you about the plans but it might damage the plan its self.

Thats fair enough. No one on here wants to hurt plans for something we would all like to see.

It was reported about a month ago by someone at Whitwell. They said it was originally numbered 235 & was to arrive from a private residence in the near future. Perhaps they meant to say it was going to Holt?
