Hi Jane, Lizzie is still at TYS receiving some TLC. I think the lack of timings for her outing is due to NR having problems with the new time tabling computer.
Some TOC's websites such as Chiltern have notices saying that the system will be down all this weekend as NR try to fix the problem.

No update from me Jane. Sorry.

Just hope it is at the head of the train at Victoria circa 09.30 on Thursday morning. So I can get my first UK ride behind an LMR pacific! Yes, after all these years I've taken the plunge.

But still no timings for the LE movement, or the actual train itself.

This is indeed a momentous occassion, I just hope that both loco amd crew are on top form, and you will look back and grudgingly have to admit that big red engines from up north, are in fact capable performers.:thumb:

Fear not Bryan, after the runs I've had behind her this year, I think you are in for a real treat. And don't forget I'm a disciple of all things Brunswick Green with lots of copper and brass!!!!

If you are on this one Kevin, you had better find Bryan and coax him up onto the footplate just to prove they don't bite.

Most certainly a momentous occasion. Had to go to a seance last night and ask OVS if it was OK for me to do this. LOL. It threw him to start with, "How many cylinders did you say it's got, (shock)?", was his first response!

Have to say it was the footage at various locations from the Britannia Banker posted here on Nat Pres that decided me. Looks to be a fine steam locomotive. And also, I did enjoy a rather nice run round Kent a week or too back behind the Black 5.

It could be to turn it - is 6201 too big for the Tyseley turntable? Though I'm surprised it is in gauge for the North Warks!
