Yes, it seemed to be injector problems with 34007. I think she was playing up from the start of the day as when we arrived 92212 and 5224 went off shed whilst 34007 stayed in the yard for a while before heading off to Alresford. The first train from Alton (10.30) did not run due to the problems.

The 10:30 did run with 5224 but about 45 mins late. Credit to the staff at Alton for the regular updates.

    Cheers,

    Paul

Ah, so that's what the doubleheader with 92212 and 5224 was for.

The injectors on Wadebridge were dodgy last week with the outboard very irregular and the inboard leaking lots of water from the overflow whilst running. She has been temporarily withdrawn from service and hopefully what has been quite an ongoing problem will be rectiified very quickly.

It certainly was on 5 carriages! 5224 even slipped a bit leaving Ropley (92212 was in behind 5224). I will try and get a picture on tonight.

Cracking shots Paul. It looks like you weren't too far away from me for some of them. You are right about the guy playing the Spiv. He was excellent. I won't repeat some of his jokes on here though as there are kids watching!

    Thanks for that.
Some of our shots do look similar. For sure the Spiv was a star. I'd pay just to watch and listen to him with his gift of the gab and his wise cracks.

    Cheers,

    Paul
