A normally reliable source tells me that Clan Line has failed her FTR today. I don't know the cause. (Given the recent problems, my guess would be injector issues).

The good news is that Tornado will deputise. This will make a very interesting comparison.

Drifted through South Croydon on time, being held up by a 455/8 that was ahead of it. No Class 67 on the back.

    Regards,

A little place called buckland, as you drive down the A25 from Dorking to Reigate you will come to Buckalnd, when you see the hampson works on your right turn left and drive over the bridge where there is a little carpark. Cross the reoad and go over the style nad follow the footpath untill you come to a foot crossing. Go over the foot crossing and the field is a where i took those photos. Let us know where you took yours near Shalford as it looks an intresting location

Thanks, I'll try that location sometime. Mine was taken at the level crossing east of Shalford, although i did sus out the foot crossing a few hundred years to the west for a later date.

First time pulling a VSOE service, but she pulled the pullman set up to York last year.
