5972 is to move to York tomorrow, the times I was given the other day indicate a similar path to that of 46115 the other Friday, due into York about 14:30.

Whether it's light engine or ECS I don't know. Also heard a rumour that 5972 is out of gauge on the new route... But nobody hold me to that, it's only a rumour...

Roll on Tuesday with this year's SSE! =]

Don't be surprised if 46115 turns up on the ECS tomorrow and the SSEs this week....

I won't be... I've already been warned 46115 may be over too tomorrow. 5972 is due to appear at the NRM over the summer on display and apparently it states it's due into York tomorrow.

I heard the same from one of the WCRC stewards, that 5972 is out of gauge, and that 46115 will be out for the first week.

Has anyone seen the train leave Carnforth yet? just wondering what time its due through Keighley as i would nt mind having another look at Scots Guardsman - a superb loco. i would imagine that it will also be on Sundays Waverley from York to Carlisle and back.

In 2008, 5690 brought the ECS from Carnforth to York in a path that had it due through Leeds at 1630.
Last year I believe a WCRC 47 brought the ECS - I dont know what path it had.

What time was that off Carnforth please?

As 46115 is doing the first weeks SSE do you think it highly likely she will do Sunday's 'Waverley'?

I had a text from 'noelist' at 12.37 saying it had just left and one from 'swampthing' at 13.00 saying it had passed clapham

My guess would be yes to the Sunday trip...
