OK lets have some input as to a suitable date for an evening YorK - York run.
For me any Tuesday or Wednesday.
Forgot to add, I'm away from this Friday 23rd and back on the 3rd August, so after that.

Should we say the evening of either the 10th, 11th or 12th August? I would imagine it to be 5690 that week with it hauling 'The Tall Ships' on the Monday.

10th or 11th my preferred days.
Reasonable trains from Manchester, out at 16.27, York 17.57, SSE 18.15 and back at 20.54, service back to Manchester, 21.10 arr 22.33, or if late the 21.45 which was the one used last year.
    Yes looks good to me.

I'm ok with either of 10th or 11th as well. I just need some notice in case of a shift swap.

Hmmm, prizes is a big stumbling point John. Give us a wave if you see us tho.

Will be an early start on Monday to get up to Marks to see 5690 on Tall Ships tour, as i cant travel tomorrow due to my first firing assessment at local steam railway. Looking forward to linesiding the week up north.

    Gotta get packing!!!!
