    On this coming Saturday (28th August) we intend to operate the Saturday afternoon passenger service at the Middleton Railway with RTC liveried Drewry Car RDB998901 (http://www.middletonrailway.org.uk/roll ... k/oliv.htm). Departures from Moor Road at 13:00, 13:40, 14:20, 15:00, 15:40 and 16:20 and normal fares apply. £4.50 adult, £2.50 child and £12.00 family - these act as Day Rovers. BUT if the crowds appear we reserve the right to substitute 'D2999' (http://www.middletonrailway.org.uk/rollingstock/91.htm) and the coaches in the interest of passenger comfort. BUT if you turn up and the coaches are out and you ask me nicely (I'll be driving either way) I'll do a trip with the Drewry Car for you.

    All the above subject to the usual "hope the thing starts/goes" etc
