Anyone on this got their tickets yet? My Dad keeps asking if ours have arrived but nothing has come yet.

Got home and found the tickets had arrived. Post comes late these days. Letter says it's 30777 outward and 60019 on the return run to the standard times.

On the Loco Moves page - 30777 is shown as running, with Support Coach, from Southall to Sheringham on 2nd Sept. Cannot see any details/timings for that yet nor how it gets to Southall straight after banking 60019 from Weymouth to Wareham. Presumably it collects it's support coach from Weymouth, goes to Yeovil (turn/service), then journeys straight to Southall I guess.

Hear 44932 does indeed now have charge of the Down trip with 60019 (as planned) on the return.
Not sure that 60019 will be on the Down DCE, on the 8th, in view of its haulage of "The Mayflower". Bittern [with 2nd tender] is scheduled to haul it on 11th between Paddington and Plymouth and return.

Thanks Peter for confirming that not that I will see the the tour until the return with 60019.

I saw 60019 at Yeovil J. Sunday with red rust buffers.

The thing that puzzles me if 44932 does the outward will she return to Southall ready for the

Spitfire/ Hop Picker runs on Sunday 5th !

It's a pity with all these light engine moves they cannot top and tail back to London.

There again it's something else to get a few extra shots.

Info from WRGEN - ta RS - suggests that 44932 will be doing the down run again and 60019 will be coming down LE to Yeovil to do the last up run of the season - 44932 then to go back to Southall LE.

44932 coasted through the Staines area with a whisper and on time with support coach returning to Southall.
    ...and nobody lifted an eyebrow.
Amazing isn't it,put 12 coaches at the back and people perk up.Even the railway fraternity stayed away perhaps couldn't be bothered or slaving away at work (..or in the pub).

...hope the turn out will be better on Sunday at the hop pickers ball...

I went to Wandsworth Town, and as I stepped off my train, expecting to have about ten minutes before 44932 would appear, it trundled past before I could even get the camera out! I hopped on the next train back to Clapham which had a red signal for about five minutes, whereupon the guard announced that we were being held due to a freight train and a steam train ahead - this caused quite a ripple! We drew into Clapham next to 44932 which was waiting for its path via Olympia, so it wasn't a wasted trip after all. It was being admired by about ten orange-suited rail workers and then set off, working quite hard for a one-coach train!
