After seeing what looked like a revised website a couple of days ago (less items in the side bar menu). All I am getting, now, is "Google" homepage. (same as you, Ian)

    I get:
    "Not Found

The requested URL /penrhynrailway/ was not found on this server."
when I use my bookmark, and Google when I type in the address (?!)

C'mon - any Penrhynites out there - what's the story?

    The site is still dead.
Are there no Penrhyn people reading this?!

Checked again just now, and got this

    http://www.felinfawr.co.uk/

Which was not what I expected..... (Penrhyn Railway Society are mentioned in the News section as having had their AGM at Felin Fawr on 4th September 2010) .....so it may be a case of watch this space. I may try contacting a couple of other people that I think are involved...but not straight away.

I checked just and the Felinfawer web site is saying that PRS are experiencing difficulties with their own web site.

Thanks for that info - hope they get it fixed soon: I enjoy following the progress.
Pity they don't have online membership with Paypal or similar - those of us without UK bank accounts can't easily join...

I have been given to understand that the forum was too lightly used to justify the amount of server space consumed by the database, so the decision was taken to delete it.
Something of a pity really, as I was thinking that the forum was just starting to wake up again after a dormant period.

There was the option to join by PayPal until the website went down. PayPal will be available as soon as it can be arranged.
