SVR Autumn 2010 Gala

Had a top quality 3 days... even though I was a bit cold camping lol. Didn't get much luck with the sun especially since I was on the trains on Saturday when it was out all day :-( I did sneak off for one shot on the Saturday though as seen below

Was it! I was in the very last coach of the 8, and it sounded like I was in the front droplight. Best run of the weekend up Eardington, though 7802 sunday morning came close.

 

I'll second that! That was a memorable northbound run and 34070 doesn't half bark when it wants to!

 

That's a really nice picture! Is it possible to get to that spot from the public side of the fence?

Thanks buddy. Unfortunately the only way to get that side of the viaduct is walking down the line from the footpath near the mill.
