British Railways Standard Steam locomotves by E.S Cox has a lot of technical information regarding boilers of the standards, including some dimensions. There is alo a pull out sectioned diagram of a Britannia. However the exact dimensions you require are not given on any of the drawings or tables. For what it is worth:-
    Diameter 5ft 9" minimum, 6ft 5.1/2" maximum.
    Distance between tube plates 17ft.
    Firebox Outside length 7ft.
Firebox Outside maximum width 7ft 9"
    Grate Area 42sq.ft
The complete locomotive(less tender) from front buffer to back of drag box(I think that's what it is!!!) is 44ft 2"
The overall length of the bolier + firebox +smokebox is roughly 8ft shorter than that overall length. However , that is to the bottom of the firebox backplate, which slopes rearward from top to bottom.Sorry I can't be more precise.

In London maybe, in Dereham I doubt. You certainly wouldn't gain any such enlightenment in our town's literary establishment.

I've checked my copy of "Britannia" by Atkins and can't add to the info above I'm afraid.

So did I - unfortunately the rather nice diagrams are a little too small to read the values, even with the help of a magnifying glass!

Overall length of boiler and firebox is approx 28ft.
    Front barrel section is 7' 10" long x 5' 9" O.D.
    Taper barrel section is 10' 6" long x 5' 9" I.D. at front x 6' 5 1/2" O.D. at rear
There is a 4 3/8" overlap at the joint of the two barrels.
Firebox is 6' 11" long x 7' 9" wide at front x 7' 4" wide at rear. Dimensions taken in foundation ring area.
Overall length of firebox including combustion chamber is approx 10'.
    I hope this helps.
