I've put a photo on Fotopic (a "through the fence" shot from yesterday). It's the last one in http://tim-fenton.fotopic.net/steam8. The loco and tender had been separated this afternoon.

Sorry, no cover up and apologies for there not being a reason posted until now. The posts were removed from view for moderation and some members PM'd.

We will reinstate some or all of the posts as soon as possible.

BTW, back on topic, it would be appreciated in the meantime if anyone has any news on the forthcoming test run for 35028?

    Thanks, Neil.

Apologies for not specifying the photo reference for the pic of Clan Line in steam at the Heritage Centre the other day. I said it was the last one in the collection, but it's been pointed out to me that it wasn't.

    Correct reference here: http://tim-fenton.fotopic.net/p68108583.html

It was the last one when I looked from my side, but Fotopic sometimes orders things in mysterious ways! I'll check back later in the week to see how they're getting on at the HC, and post any news here.

If all goes well 'Clan Line' will be returning to London the following Monday (29th November) as a loaded test run, via Wimbledon, where work needs to be done on the support coach wheels. Ater returnng to Stewarts Lane it will be prepared for the first of 3 'Surrey Hills' trips 7th 11th & 21st Dec.

So presumably the injector / boiler feed problems have thankfully been cured. Does anyone know what the diagnosis was please?

I'm sure MNLPS will make an appropriate announcement when they are ready.

It really is encouraging to know that the 'old girl' is still held in such high regard! I hope there's a decent enthusiast's outing next year to celebrate her return on...
