Am wondering what the weather will be like in Shropshire when the train leaves. Current forecast is 'interesting'.

Freudian leaves causing a Freudian slip resulting in assistance from a Freudian shed - I hope not!

Freudian shed? Wasn't that 38C in the Ian Allen shed book?

Hoping to head out for this one. Anyone know of a good spot between Craven Arms and Church Stretton? Personally I think photographic conditions maybe near perfect for this one with a good chance of some nice steam effects, though maybe not for us photters if it's running late!

Dr Sigmund Freud to numerous Nat Pres patients: "So tell me about your dislike of diesels, does it go back to your childhood?"

"Is a diesel a sympbol of the phallus? "

"You say it is a symbol of violation and impurity?"

Long time since I've filmed on this line so these spots may be no longer relevant. A public footpath crosses the line near Wistanstow and Marshbrook used to be a popular spot. A footpath crosses the line almost opposite Stokesay Castle, I got a long video shot of 'Britannia' there in the 90's but again the vegetation may have taken over

I wonder why there's a 24 minute stop at Abergavenny, yet only a 15 minute water stop at Hereford?

Many thanks Austin, Marshbrook was at top of my list but vegetation could be an issue as its a long time since ive been through there. Stokesay is a good alternative as last time I was there it was still fairly clear but even in that time things could have changed!

Had a good fall of snow here today, not sure it went too far east but certainly will have affected SE Wales, south of Hereford & Newport to Abergavenny area. Forecast looks good for tomorrow mind.
