IIRC the hush hush was mainly about keeping negotiations with on the Turkish side running smoothly, Im sure they will be going to a good home though. I too would be interested to find out the future plans for these, destinations et al.

    Hello,

January 7th is a date when the locos 'could' get loaded up, and away from Portbury...

    @ Rileys Ghost:

I had nothing to do with the Bristol Railway Archive Forum before and can read the thread and see the pictures. Only if I want to post a reply I need to sign in, which I can not do as I am no registered user there? Have you been a registered user there and have you been banned? Are other UK-based Nat-Pres users experiencing the same problem?

    Regards

    Christoph

Must have reasonable wheelsets and axleboxes for them to be dragged several hundred miles across Turkey.

Fortunately no-one has told me the destination of the two engines, so I survive into 2011...!!

Pictures fine for me as well, so it appears nothing sinister going on. Perhaps Rileys Ghost it's just you that has been banned for some misdemeanor.
