Excellent, nice to see her in a fresh coat, ready for another glorious six years of adventures on the national network. On a light-hearted note, I find it rather amusing how it seems that the only way to gain information on progress on locomotives at WCRC Carnforth is to 'camp' outside and 'spy' as one would on a military installation! Thanks for the clip, by the way!

Its their prerogative, if they want to keep news of locomotives there secret.

Now that 34067 is outshopped, everyone will be watching for wisps of steam from a certain Jubilee boiler.

    Spies keep your eyes peeled!

Looks like a great paint job. A shame we couldn't have a change of livery. It would of been nice to see her with a high sided tender and in Malachite green with British Railways on her tender and running has s21C167.

Now that would be a sight to see on the main line

I think it will be BR late livery, if the owner's other locomotives are anything to go by. 44932, 48151, 46115 (i think its the same person)

Something in steam at Carnforth this morning - brunswick green; thought it was 46115 but would make more sense now reading this for it to be 34067. And no I wasn't camping outside Steamtown, but flying past on a Pendo at 100+, hence the less than 100% confident sighting.

Looks lovely in its new coat of paint. Looking forward to seeing the loco back out on the big railway. Out of curiosity, what's the tender from on the road behind the loco? Looks like a flat sided LNER tender - possibly off of 62005?

I thought 62005 was at Darlington. Could the tender be off 61264?

Again, I think 61264 is at Barrow Hill.

According to the December NELPG news, the chassis and cab are at Hopetown Works while the boiler and tender receive attention at Carnforth.
My 2 doubts on the tender in the picture are the apparent lack of the red line inside the white band, but that may be a function of the photo, and, the tender was having a wheelset retyred so would it be stored outside on the remaining wheelsets? Hmmmmmmmm perhaps we're no further forward with the answer.
