35028 'Clan Line' through Feltham at 13.30 - roughly on time-ish. 67030 on the back.

On Time at Guildford got carved up by a five car coming the other way at the tunnel.

Oh I've been there before Mike. Good spot though but you do need a bit of luck sometimes. No luck today at Worplesdon, 35028 looking good but camera settings a bit off, will post later if not too many other shots.

I was at Worplesdon today as well David. 35028 looked superb and it was great to have some sun as well. Two from Worplesdon...

and just made it to Albury in time, she must have left Shalford abit early as she passed Albury around 2.45. Same location for me as 4 weeks ago but sun this time instead of snow!

35028 just north of Worplesdon today. Ashley, really like the 'going away' view at Worplesdon:

Is the Hook Hill Lane bridge re-opened now David, looks like your pic is from there? It was a real shame it was closed for bridge-works during the picturesque snowy season!

Mind you, your pic is equally picturesque in the beautiful sunshine! Great shot.

Thanks Steve yes that's the place. You will need your steps though as the renovated parapets are now quite high. I only took a step stool and had trouble getting a view, but a nice wide footpath to set up your gear. New chain link fencing at the sides of the bridge next to the roadway so not much chance of getting a shot from there now. Not a bad spot for video/sound with the road closed but seems quite a busy road with traffic lights ensuring a steady flow of traffic/noise now.

Thank you all for the kind comments, that going away shot at Worplesdon was one of those lucky ones, it just sort of works without any planning! Nice shots Stephen and David, I was looking at going to that bridge you went to David but I was not sure how busy the road was and where you park as I wanted to get a shot in at Albury as well so decided on the station.

Got my video uploaded finally, it's still processing but should be live soon. It's today's trip plus the previous two in the last month or so.

I was really pleased with the shot from Albury at the start, as Clan Line was working really hard and I could hear her well before she arrived. So could the horses!!

Thankfully the train ran to plan yesterday. It was different matter today as 67.030 was used to haul the prestigious VSOE from London to Bath. Unfortunately the train was stopped at Didcot because of 'wheel flats'. After several hours it departed from Didcot at 14:31 returning to the capital.

Come on DBS. Think outside the box. <BJ>

Nice one Steve, where abouts is that first location at Albury, it can't be too far off where I was at Blackheath Lane crossing. Thanks

I loved your video, superb shots.

I was in the horse field a couple of hundred yards away from the foot crossing, roughly where the red 'x' is on the attached map. Apparently it's a good idea to ask permission of the riding school to go in the field, but as I was running late and there were no horses in that bit, and no-one around, I took a chance and sneaked in to shoot the video......

I'd been going to ask if you were at Blackheath Lane! Nice spot.

Thanks Steve, it is a nice spot at Blackheath Lane but now I have got 35028 in both the snow and the sun I fancy a change, unless something else heads that way along that route but most the other tours tend to run in the other direction! I might try around that area next time, thanks!

Nice pictures and video folks. Couldn't get out for this one due to continuing illness. Good to see the coverage on here though.
