Does anyone have any news of this train? I presume the stock will be predominately maroon.
But will there be a 'banker' for insurance? <BJ>

Would it be allowed to continue with brake problems? A 20 min late departure is not unusual for any rail tour.

Looks like I wasn't the only one at Haywards Heath then. There was quite a few people there. She arrived more or less around the time she should have left. Despite my doubts my photos came out well seeing as I was on the platform and that the sun was in the way. Great to see Tangmere back though and fingers crossed the brake problem is an easy fix unless it has been fixed.

You are right Free2grice the stock is the usual WCRC maroon coaches.

Any reason for the box? Didn't think there any problems with shunting at bristol. Plenty of unassisted steam tours have been there before. See WCRC have accquired another box to attach to steam tours, 47768.

Made up a lot of time. Less than 10 down at Bradford Junc. Missed getting a shot because we were still walking to the field!

Tangmere was running virtually to time when we saw it approaching Bathampton Jct. in the Avon valley. I would imagine it had slowed for the
Dundas aquaduct as the loco appeared to be accellerating quite hard a mile or so before the junction. A beautiful train in a beautiful setting.
