46115 at Great Strickland again - not bad for a little point-and-shoot camera. The sun was out all morning in the area, then about half an hour before she came past it went in, before coming out again about a minute after she went through and stayed out until it set late this evening. Typical!

It always give me pleasure to see SKILLED men working. I know there are one or two apprenticeships available out there for a lucky few, but in my opinion it's a big mistake having the emphasis on going to university and all that, surely we should be encouraging youngsters into going for a manufacturing skill. I know when I left grammar school I made a mistake in not going for a mechanical engineering apprenticeship, I've regretted it many times since.(I hope that makes sense)

Well, touch wood, things seem to have gone really well with this tour so far, good weather, no lineside fire problems, no moans, and all locos running well and turned out beautifully. Let's hope the rest of the trip goes as well "darn sarf"
