Not quite sure what's going on with all this chopping and changing of locos. There is a provisional movement of 70013 down to Swanage shown for Thursday but it's supposed to be working the final bit of the Cathedrals Explorer on Friday night.......

I would guess that 45305 is likely to work the round-Kent trip on Friday evening and stay in steam at Southall overnight ready to work the Swanage trip - assuming the support crew have enough chaps to cover the double (or treble?) shift.

70013+POB due to arrive at Swanage [tender-first] around 1330 Friday.
45305 arrives with tour at Swanage on Saturday at 1412.
    70013 departs Swanage at 1610.
Have no information as to when 45305+POB leaves Swanage.

Looks like it sits at Waterloo Station for a long time after it's return, around 1 3/4 hours, surely not on Platform 19 which is quite heavily used?

I think you'll find it waits for 39mins in p16, waiting for the diesel to attach and remove the train.

Don't suppose anyone knows what platform it will leave from at Waterloo...

I am planning to watch the train go past Vauxhall and would like to see it heading into Waterloo before it departs. Would 30 mins before departure be about right or 60 mins or longer?

    Cheers, Paul

45305 made a very impressive departure from Winchfield and stormed past us at Potbridge.

Two shots from this morning here:http://steamtube.ning.com/photo/albums/swanage-belle-140511

Looking forward to the return run later with 70013. Will 45305 have any more runs down South or is she going back up "North" soon?

Departed 12 minutes late, allegedly to trespass on the line.
Service trains also running 10 minutes late due to trespass, 4 services affected.
(personally I may be a little dubious of this, having been on one of those service trains affected, I found it to be dithering about at Bournemouth with an unruly passenger for 10 mins), and that 70013 was waiting outside Southampton for my late running service train to clear the platform so it could water on plat 1)
