This one sees 5043 go to the seaside.
All the posh seats sold out weeks ago, but I believe there are still seats available in Standard Class.
Any members booked on this one?

According to the letter received with the tickets, 4492 is due to arrive at 13.24 and depart at 17.17. Anyone from Tyseley able to tell us the times for 5043?

Help for the poor starving support crew would be appreciated (no not food parcels :)) but is there a decent Chippie close to the station?

Why not try Mother Hubbard's, it's only 2 mins from the station. It's a Fish and Chip restaurant but I'm sure if you order they do take out. Link to there website: http://www.mother-hubbards.co.uk/

Sorry, but as a humble member of the support crew I can't guarantee such things.
However rather than throwing a fiver at the train as it passes. If you are happy with us as we pass your location why not 'throw' a fiver in this direction......http://www.charitygiving.co.uk/7029general

As well as the clag, a request for a good blast on the whistle is always worth trying.

I'm always happy to see the Earl pass through Pontefract, what an engine !!.....looking forward to seeing her again. They've just replaced the bridge across the A645 which now has a 20MPH speed restriction, we'll it did when the Princess came through a couple of weeks ago. A real shame as in the past she's always come through at some speed.

I tell you what....if you get the driver to whistle, just before she passes under the M62 I'll throw £10 at the Clun Castle's fund !

Revised times now up on uksteam.info. Arrival in Scarboro’ not now until 14.14 thanks to 63 minute water/pathing stop at Milford.

I’m on this, coach G, with the family - thought it was about time my daughters were introduced to the delights of main line steam (and ice creams in the Harbour Bar). Looking forward to another great run with 5043.

OK, will give it a try. NB We are not joining the tour until Burton on Trent, so don't expect any updates prior to that.
