I wonder if the Brunswick Tornado has helped as well.

It is apparent that you have never been involved in re-painting a locomotive. This might just cover the cost of re-painting the Loco.

I just don't get it. Why would anyone go for crimson lake when she'll go into it after a year anyway? I just don't understand the logic behind it. Dog in the manger springs to mind. In light of 6023, 4472, 60163 and 9466's latest repaints, and the positivity behind these repaints, one wonders why the PRCLT seem so dead set on offering the same package so strongly.

I know its crazy. I'd love to see her in BR Blue but in terms of the poll as it stands I hope Brunswick wins.

Crimson Lake should never have really been an option given 9 of its 10 years will be in Crimson Lake.

You'll be adding to the Beer and Whisky threads next ;)

Still plenty of time to see what the end result of the poll will be. For those who are following this have the average number of votes per period declined since the article in HR?

Ahh, just answered my own question (gosh, I'm good!). 31 August is the last day we can expect the last-minute massive cheques for Brunswick Green/Crimson Lake.

Edit: Just got in there before me, Matt!

Well, at least LMS crimson is staying out of the lead. I would have prefered LMS black or BR blue, but at least its being kept down by BR green, for now.....

I take it the PRLCT have yet to comment on why LMS crimson is even IN this poll in the 1st place?

As far as I know they haven't. But we've still got to wait until August 31st for a race between Brunswick and Crimson Lake.

I've voted twice for BR green, my main preference would have been BR Blue (so a 6233, 6023, 60007 line up would have been amazing) but I'll do anything to keep LMS crimson out of the lead, it's a nice livery - but lets be different!
Sorry if this has already been answered in the thread, but when is the boiler due back from Crewe? The PRCLT states that the boiler will be reunited with the rolling chassis as soon as it returns.

Well, whatever the colour, at least we get a Coronation at the end of it, which is what matters most.

Just on a side note, who else thought she looked absolutely STUNNING when she was black?

Looked good and was a welcome change from LMS maroon. Just wish we could have had it in black for a while longer.
