    I think you'll find, Steve, that the first public performance is on 21st June. Prior to that is dress rehearsals. Not to be pedantic about it, of course.
    There is prevision for an extention again, if necessary, to January after the first eleven weeks.

    Apparently No 1 is moving tonight leaving Southall at about 10pm and arriving at Waterloo for about 1am with a 47 on each end with No 1, the Old Gentleman's saloon, a few mark 1s and two 08 shunters.

    Sorry, late with a reply, (as I was involved in the job). We had 37516 on the front and 47500 at the rear. Easy trip but were a bit late into Waterloo at 01.30.

    Why? if the movement involves changes of direction it's a lot easier and quicker than running round, and in many cases there any not be suitable places for running round to take place.
