Accoridng to the Trust website, Tornado will be at Didcot from 9 to 17 June. Then after the Canterbury trip on Saturday 18 June, Tornado will be visiting the West Somerset Railway for 2 weeks from Tuesday 21 June to Monday 4 July, before taking up duties on the Torbay Express on Sunday 10 July.

BR Green Tornado on the NYMR 30 May 2011

On the May Bank Holiday weekend, the long wait for Tornado's return to passenger
service was at an end. Its winter overhaul was prolonged by the need for its
boiler to be returned to Meiningen, Germany for repairs, and the current refusal
of West Coast Railway Company to operate the locomotive caused further havoc to
its planned main line schedules. The beneficiary of these woes was the North
York Moors Railway, who ran Tornado during the Bank Holiday week.

The Monday was cold, wet and misty but this did not detract from Tornado's noisy
mastery of the challenging gradients from Grosmont to Pickering and back. I hope
my next encounter with Tornado will be in sunshine, when the full richness of
her splendid new coat of BR Brunswick green will be seen in all its glory.

Chaps, thanks for posting all the video and pics, they are lovely. Really does enforce my view that there's nowt better than seeing steam on the mainline, and seeing it in the form of a Dark Green A1 is as good as it gets. That last shot could almost be the 1950s there.
