Tangmere and friend down at top of Parkstone Bank at 1255 running easily a few minutes ahead of time. 37516 does idle noisily! DH

Yes Ron. Shame they don't seem to path the return trips to stop at Winchfield at present. Basingstoke is a little more awkward to park at and access.

I shall probably just go to Fleet; it's a tad nearer than Basingstoke.

She passed through Andover 6 minutes early. It was grand to see her in all her splender whistling (literally) through Andover, especially after all her recent issues. It was clear by the way that the 37 was there just for the ride & doing nothing! She's not my favourite looking loco, but when you see her at speed & hear that whistle you can't help but admire her :) Also, I took notice of peoples comments on the pan or not to pan thread, hence I chose not to pan for a change.

Very nice; it just goes to show that even when the light is failing it's still worth having a go.

I had a bit more light at Fleet. Not a lot, but, with a little subsequent help from Photoshop, enough to record the train's passing. As with this morning's pictures, they are on my Flickr site in the 'Main Line Steam' set :

or you can see them in the main Photostream :

Hope that they are of interest.
