Steam Dreams is now showing 60019 on this tour, presumably 70000 is still not well..

http://uksteam.info/tours/trs11.htm#twk is showing the CE tour on 2nd July as postponed to 29/10/11 - I would think SD are persuading passengers to transfer to 7th July tour which is now with 60019.

The tickets came through today, giving no mention of the loco change. A shame 70000 is not available as that was the main reason I booked.

Anyone know where the water stops are yet?

Really looking forward to seeing 4492 through Ascot/Bracknell, and hopefully catch her again west of Wantage somewhere. Looks tight timing for the race down the M4 though, is she running with 2 tenders?

Hmmm, VSOE had that path last week and didn't have an Ascot water stop. No water shown on return leg. Is Bittern capable of a 5 hour run plus two hours each way from Southall (diesel-hauled) with two tenders?

I see as well that Steam Dreams has it down for Platform 2, which would definitely mean it's not a water stop.

Evidently they think it is but I shall take a couple of bottles of Highland Spring just in case.

Yeah, about 7 down at Winnersh, approaching Reading. Both tenders, 11 coaches, going well and looking superb.

Through Tilehurst around 10.40 where it crossed from the relief to the main, unusually an up HST was held just outside the station to allow the A4 to cross.
Video here from the crowded station, note the waiting HST.

Here's my clip of her passing Bracknell, looking very fine and whistling as she goes:
