Thank you to all the Foxfield members who worked so hard - despite the sunshine ( ! ). Numbers were down, I have the sums to do tonight but I think that we covered costs. Just goes to show what two days solid rain can do.

Plans for the October Gala are in the pipe line - and yes Dubs will at the Colliery in October.

The first items were removed from Hawarden yesterday by James and Phil, onwards !.

 

Here's my video from a scorching Sunday at Foxfield! My first visit to this railway and despite the weather I shall be back! The video shows five runs up the bank by a variety of locos.

Well, what a weekend. Thanks to all the Foxfield boys and girls for making us most welcome, we are turning into a fixture at these galas. Rest assured we will be back next year, maybe without a loco, although we said that last year.

19 performed well and made some cracking runs up the bank, the best being Friday on test with no one to watch it, ah well.

Despite the weather and being wet most of the weekend it was another enjoyable visit.

Cracking weekend, not the best weather but i do enjoy challange with the camera.
few things the cafe this year was brillant really quick, no waiting around and cracking food
Bagnall 19 is a monster, put on brillant show
