45407 is doing the first two weeks of the SSE and the first Waverley according to UK Steam.

So Tangmere is to join the Crewe Pool, this week at least. In the Scarborough Flyer thread, we learn that she's to go down to Crewe from Southall tomorrow (Thu 21st) in place of 70013, since both 6201 and 70013 are currently unavailable. I wonder whether she will work both the SF and the CME on Saturday, or whether 45305 will take on one of them?

I wonder how long she'll remain at Crewe? Until Ollie and/or Lizzie is fit again? Bittern/DoNZ has taken her place on the DCE, next week at least, according to UKsteam. Steam Dreams say they are still expecting Tangmere to haul their Salisbury - Canterbury trip on Thu 28th, though I'd think Bittern (if she fits all the bridge-holes) would be more likely, since she'll be at Yeovil from Tuesday night, or else Britannia (come down from Southall on the back of the ECS early morning). And what about Tangmere's rostered turn on the Bristol - Weymouth "Sandcastle" on 31st July? Maybe 6024 will have been gauged for the route by then?

According to RTC 45305 is on Saturday's Cumbrian Mountain Express.

Info on the Mersery Moorlanders thread indicates none of the Crewe Pool locos will be used on the Mersery Moorlander excursions.

I think you will find that that information has been superseded..

So what is the loading going to be for Saturdays CME if 45305 is at the front and has anyone got timings yet as I would assume that the original timings would be for a class 7/8 loco with a 75 limit?

    Thanks, Neil.

If the timings for the Coast to Coast are anything to go by 5305 should ahve little trouble keeping up. They were originally for a 7/8P with 12/13 on, a 5 with 10 managed. I would hazard a guess that we might only see 10 on in this case.
Interesting to note that the Mersey Moorlander is only booked for 10 whatever the motive power.
