Loco roster K&ESR / Isle of Wight

Anyone able to help with information about what's working at either of these delightful railways over the next few days? While appreciating the vital role Austerities play, I'd rather visit on a day when they are being rested!

 

No 24 Calbourne is working the service train on the Isle of Wight Steam Railway this week.

 

Thanks for the info. Is Calbourne likely to be working Saturday and/or Sunday? Such a perfect match of loco and railway!

 

No service on saturday, Calbourne in use on sunday on service trains.

 

That's my Sunday sorted then! It will be my first visit of the year! Thanks again for the info.

 

'Calbourne' will be in service for the next week, including the Easter weekend.

 

I'm unexpectedly free to visit one (or both!) these delightful railways this week. Would appreciate any loco info up to and including next Sunday 14th August. Many thanks for any info. I promise I'll spend lots at your line!

 

The main loco this week at IOWSR is W24, not to sure what the second engine will be on tue/wens/thur. W8 was on the second train this weekend so it is possible that it will continue to be used.

 

On the Kesr

Tomorrow - 23 Holman F Stephens and 32678 Knowle are booked out (well they were when I looked on Sunday)

I will look for the rest of the week for you when I am there tomorrow.

I'm definitely heading to the Island mid week! I've not experienced W24 yet this year!

Provided there's a Terrier, P, or that nice GWR tank at KESR, I'll head that way later in the week or at the weekend.

 

Confirmed today W24 until thursday and W8 as second engine, also until thursday. From friday its 198

Ah, thanks for the correction! You see, we have already reached the limit of my knowledge of all things GWR, BR (W), FGW etc etc. I do mean well!

 

Same locos in use till the 12th, roster was not out for after that date

Same locos rostered out 23 will be on the 10.45am ex TN and 32678 on the 11.45am (could though be 32670 instead)
