Rain seems to be heading west. It was dry ish at Keighley til about half an hour ago. Quite heavy rain now though. Won't bother going anywhere for 6201 this evening!

Not a good day at Scarborough, steady drizzle/rain all the time we were there. Stopped by the time we got back to Wakefield and still dry on the approach to Huddersfield.

Err no.. I've got past the 'must have head out at every opportunity' stage, but did for a short time where Phil has that video on the approach to Standedge.

Slowly sorting through photos from last week. Shot from Dalton Cricket Club in Huddersfield. I had planned to chase 6201 further east, but the rain got heavier around Leeds so I gave up and went to KWVR instead.

Reported as having left York. Someone says there is in fact a 47 on the front. Dont Shoot the messenger! Lizzie is inside the 47 I assume.

Derailed? Blimey! Glad our trip last Friday (26/8/11) went without incident. Bang on time at every stage of the trip. Only fly in the ointment was the flaming weather! Four hours of non-stop rain In Scarborough. But who cares, the whole object was to enjoy our train journey, which was helped when we were upgraded from Standard Class to First when we boarded at Wilmslow. Think the trip was under subscribed. Coaches from West Coast Rail were in immaculate condition. Photo of our coach attached.
