This is a shot of Her approaching Iver this afternoon, running a tad late due to signaling problems - I ended up playing cat & mouse with slow moving HST's when she turned up, if one of those pointy box things had got in the way I'd have been right royally miffed! View attachment 3036

I think it can be a matter of personal preference like a lot of things in photgraphy, as you can see there are several free ones available. I originally used the one in Windows picture and fax viewer then found the Xemico one and have stuck with that. It does what I want so suits my needs.

70013's move from Crewe to York Mon 29-Aug has been cancelled. 45305 will now move instead for the SSEs. 45231 replaces 45305 on the Mersey Moorlander, but is reported to be sick (broken piston rings ?).
Can anyone confirm when 45231 moved south from Boness-Carnforth ? I missed this one !

    David at www.uksteam.info

Correction: I have since been informed that 70013 DID go to York today !
