Looks like nunlow as it comes of shed at ingrow and does only short runs from keighley.

 

I can confirm that on Friday, Loco F is indeed scheduled to be Nunlow. The PDF has been amended accordingly on the website. The link posted by 47406 (above) goes to the unamended version and hence does not show this.

Looking forward to making my annual visit to KWVR,to have 43924 for the first time and 45212 probably for the last time.
KWVR Gala is one of the best run galas with a good timetable and mix of locos,congratulations to all those involved in making it happen.
I will this time be able to sample the superb real ale coach as a friend from Plymouth is doing the driving.

Important Announcement :

Although originally planned to attend the Gala, ‘Black 5’ No. 45305 will not be attending due to a 'sudden serious defect that could not be fixed in time', we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
This is all the Railway knows and we were informed today by email. (Lets not turn the thread into discussion about/ideas what is wrong with the 5 and lets concentrate on what is still set to be a great weekend!)

 

That is a shame, look forward to revised rosters as time permits.

It will be an excellent gala.

2807 safely dispatched from winchcombe this afternoon ( Monday) expect to see them northern hills tommorrow. Looking forward to a great event. Cotswold steam preservation will have a stand at the event so come and see us.

 

Update on Cotswold Steam Preservation Limited (CSPL) Stand
Due to unforeseen circumstances CSPL will not have a stand at the KWVR Gala. But 2807 will have a support team made up of GWSR loco department and CSPL Maintenance Crew. Come along for a chat and see the loco. One of them will be me!!!

 

2807 has arrived at the K&WVR.

 

is 2807 staying any longer after the gala? Seems she is only doing 9 runs over 3 days (chimney first) would be better if just one engine in steam days, wud have 4 runs per day. Doesn't seem much return for the long journey north.

 

Looking forward to tomorrow (Friday) and a nice mix of Loco's. I should have the same coat on as in the thumb pic if anyone wants to say hello.
