I remember seeing a web site with steam locomotives in modern operators colours, ie Merchant Navy in Southwest Trains and an A4 in National Express colours. Anyone know what the url is please?

A4s actually don't look bad in Pendolino livery (runs for cover), but it's just not ECML (comes out of cover). Try that GNER look with the yellow box shaped to look a bit more dynamic. Now THAT would be cool. Put the Pendolino livery on a photo of streamlined 6229, but quick, because Virgin Trains will probably hire her for an ad campaign and do it themselves. The NRM owe the Virgin Chairman a £365k favour for helping to buy Flying Scotsman.

In reply to the question what is the URL surely, since this is a railway context, it means Up Relief Line!

It would be much better publicity for Virgin to paint a Pendi in Coronation Scot Livery! - Bob

    It's changed again; http://fictitiousliveries.co.uk/
Going through the full range of locos & schemes, it's odd how some liveries look good on anyloco wheres others just do not look right.

Glad to see the site survived the death of Fotopic :)
