What 4f is at Llangollen???

As the title says.

 

44422 arrived Thursday for some maintenance I believe.

 

Wasn't there some rumour saying it would do some running days at Llangollen after maintenance??

Do you reckon its having maintenance done at Llan before returning to Cheddleton?
Just a thought, cos Llan is a fair distance from Peterborough

 

I thought those bridges were well and truly burnt. I hope to be wrong tho. 44422 does have a good relationship with llangollen as its been before. So it could be that.

I don't seem to remember this little incident from the time. Bad form, though, if the CVR's points were true.

 

So they say; I'd like to hear the owning group's take on it as well, but as the clash was about a year ago, its probably best to let it go. It might just as equally be bad form from the CVR.

Personally it would be rather nice if 43924 were to join it for a spell.

 

It's back for annual steam test and boiler inspection. It may need work on the firebox but this will be decided by the boiler inspector. It also needs work to the bottom end.

It will probably do some running in turns after the work.
