    I won't try to show you my pictures as they will not compare, but I thoroughly enjoyed my evening out! As has been said, the fact that it was a Pannier, such a silly thing to have on the mainline in this day and age, and the atmospheric moonlit run through the Warwickshire countryside, made it absolutely magic.

    I'd estimate 50 - 60. 2 carriages were in use . Lovely racket from 7752

    Good to see a number of nat pres members both on the train and at Stratford and especially the SVR contingent who were enjoying a good night out !

    Never seen so much port and chicken consumed in such a short space of time lol

    Great night out, well worth the journey down from Preston. Gutted I can't make the 19th :(

    Hopefully the Panniers get a few outings next year though. Definitely the most fun locos to be behind on the mainline IMO.

    41 so the head gripper reported to me. So thanks to everyone who turned out at short notice, as the revenue is helpful in defraying some of the costs of the trial run. Glad to hear that everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

    Thanks for putting it on. Hopefully there's some more Pannier action next year to sample. No chance of a red Pannier on the Forth Bridge lol
