    Rev David

with due respect to the members of this forum they are usually pretty astute in highlighting the projects with potential and those with none . S********h , Luton & Dunstable, the new one in derbyshire have all come quickly under the beady eyes of the Nat Pres Jury and whilst I wish any project well , holistic , Matrix are not words associated with any railway scheme and quite simply I fear your scheme may well go the same way .

It strikes me little more than a utopian vision reliant on massive goodwill that will reamin a pipedream and a website

as the saying goes actions speak louder than words and when the scheme is starting to flourish then we may believe

I think it time you left this forum Alec and try speaking no longer on PAV's behalf. You mean well, but this is not the time or place.

I started this dialogue simply to advise people who I assumed genuinely wanted to know things and gave out a bulletin as such about PAV. I didn't know that I was expected to defend PAV or myself in the process.

I have given an email address and will assure someone from PAV will answer any reasonable or good spirited questions via that means.

There will not any other further communications via this forum.

    Many thanks

    Rev David W Heathcote

so after all this is the sbrs moving away. who from this pav group is actually a member of sbrs. and surely with the gwsr heading north would it not be a good idea to hold out at longmarston as there is a real future at honeybourne.

also what's the one in shropshire that people are on about.

This is a very odd thread! I've just decided to read through and it is most peculiar. Is the Reverend Original Poster straight up? If so what?

Check the Hobbit, or the Lord of the Rings. There's stuff in there about Trolls.

Try John the Baptist TV (http://www.johnthebaptisttv.com/) where our chum has posted replies to a thread on revivals. He claims to be an espouser of prosperity evangelism (God makes you wealthy). But as most of the other nutcases on that site think the world is about to end - why bother chasing wealth - or building a new railway anyway? ;)

See his reply to the 'revival' topic (quite some way down the screen) if you can face it!! http://www.johnthebaptisttv.com/2010/06/05/has-the-word-revival-been-ruined-2/

Did anybody else get the impression that Messrs. Pointer and Heathcote were actually one and the same person?

Yup - smacked very much of the numerous identities adopted by the Sn**lb**ch folk!
As did the aggressive and implicitly threatening reactions - crazies alert, methinks ;)

To succeed, the railway would have to be a goal in its own right - even if there are other associated projects.

I'm sure that the ideas of the Rev Heathcote are praiseworthy and will do much social good in the area where they are to be located. However, with those more domiciled to Long Marston, I would say switch you efforts to help the GWRS get from Broadway to their alloted space at Honeybourne. There is now a lot of interest from the "Big Railway" to reconnecting Honeybourne with Stratford so let's see how that progresses. One never knows, if those two schemes are achieved that tiny gap between Racecourse and Lansdown will be irresistable!
