That is a very smart paint job. Nearly as shiny as 35028 (ducks for cover).

Likely to have a all white front as well as roof when it gets back to Euston tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing this in the morning must admit.

Any truth in the suggestion in Down Main (in this month's SR) that 44932 may join 45305 on the 18th? Certainly no complaints from me if it is correct, to quote a certain Lancashire engineer and loco owner, 'the only thing better than one Black 5 is two..!'

No Wires at Washwood Heath so it would of needed to be towed to at least under the juice anyway.

It would make sense and allow a full 12 coach train..

    It's only 9+1 isn't it ? (unless they've been selling extra tickets ?)

I think having 44932 would be wishful thinking, but I wouldn't complain.
if it were going it happen I'm sure someone would have spotted the two whiffs of smoke from Carnforth by now.

What affect will today's hiccup at Bletchley have? VT and LM has issued revised timetables with cancellations, I guess it will be a case of waiting in a queue for the slow lines?

My ride to this train started 7 hours ago... 1hr45 to boarding flt number 20...depending on the winds I'll get 5 hours shut eye before Manchester.

I think a good indicator to time keeping tomorrow maybe the overnight sleeper to London.
Also platform space at Euston... How much stuff maybe out of place and stabled at Euston tonight.

44932 double heading with 45305 on the 18th ties in with what I heard last weekend.

Left Euston on time with very warm carriages. Sunrise over north London at -5 degrees.

Glyn (admin) and I are in Coach F if you want to say hello. I'll be trying to update my blog with photos/videoes on the journey, as long as my battery holds out:
