Google Maps can usually resolve individual tracks (though being a map rather than a diagram, you may have to scroll past a lot of plain line if you don't know exactly where to look), and does show a loop between tracks at this location.

This is extremely late as she is now at Bristol, but if people want live diagrams for the western region up to bathampton junction plus Wessex, Sussex etc pm me and I can email them as they are PDFs. For western they are slightly out of date but it covers the loop people have been talking about.

    Regards

    James

Just drove past J94 68030 on a low loader, heading through Featherstone towards Cannock. Anyone know where it's coming from/going to? Chasewater was my immediate thought?

Looking at UKSteam, 34067's move from Carnforth tomorrow has been caped and 44932 is coming down instead. Presume some sort of delay to 34067's maintenance?

I cannot really see two platforms being taken up by these two movements, and if they are going to water then they will be using platform 12, so 44932 may well have to wait until 6201 and 5043 have moved out?
I will do my best to be out somewhere to catch them.

I believe the Class 5 has been retimed to run about 3 hours earlier. Its now about 08:00 off Carnforth, but I don't have any detailed times.

I believe after leaving Carnforth at 8am, 8.24 dep Cfth goods loop, Lancaster 8.34 to 43, Preston 9.14 to 36 and that's as far as my info goes. So Crewe will be about 10.40 with maybe a 20 minute water stop... So with having to drop the other half off at the hospital at 11am that puts the mockers on me seeing 44932.
