Anyone know when Bittern will be returning back to the Mid Hants from the SVR? What route will she be taking?

She won't be, well not yet anyway. She is booked on photo charters on the SVR for the next three days. Bittern's next movement will be from the SVR to Barrow Hill for the Fab Four event.

Also, she's not based on the Mid-Hants any more - she's based at Southall.

"Tornado" and support coach plus diesel reported through Egham this morning. Nothing obvious on uksteaminfo.

Edit: My correspondent said "Tornado ?" plus a diesel, being hauled towards London by a skip. I stress Tornado, question mark...

I believe it is now running on revised times about 2 hours later from Castleton, but unchanged north of York ?

My friend is waiting at castleton for 45407 and had info that she had failed but was being repaired, Riley was unsure what time she would be ready to leave.

Just to confirm - 45407 arrived at Grosmont last night, running to a revised schedule after departing later than planned from the ELR.

A whole raft of movements are now up for the Fab4 & Great Britain - the movement of most interest is the Mallard & Green Arrow move on Wednesday from York to Barrow. It's a shame they're being diesel towed though. I hope someone can capture this move.

I am not as pleasantly equipped as the regulars on here, but these are my efforts of 4464 'Bittern' captured roughly 4 minutes behind schedule passing through Dunston, just south of Stafford this morning.
