Panniers and Prairies, Castles and Stars. Manors and Moguls stopping at Par. Granges and Counties piloting Kings. These are a few of our favourite things. Storming Dainton with a Saint on - struggling round the bend. We'll be in Heaven when we get to Devon. We just won't want it to end!

I'm here all week. No, really, I am. I'm just really excited right now.

So its all locos facing Carrog apart from 5199 & 1744?

In the maroon set, is it not the blue/grey carriage being used instead of a b/c as noted, or am I thinking too much about it?

That's correct, only 5199 and 1744 facing east. Unless that is they have made a mistake offloading tornado or the super D.

I think the plan is not to use the blue and grey, which is a great shame in my opinion (because it's down to me that it is blue and grey), but we shall see what happens on that!

For the attention of any visitors driving to SS&S3. There are roadworks on the A483 in the Wrexham area. So either travel early to avoid the jams or find an alternative route

My sister saw it heading west along the M56 this evening on her way home from work. She even managed to get the name and number correct!

Would look great behind 44806 & 70000! I think every carriage should be used, I think each train will be very busy!

They could put the Suoer D on the blue and grey set - that seemed quite popular when the East Lancs did it.
