    Almost invariably the loco faces towards Bodmin General as that is the top of the hill from both Bodmin Parkway and Boscarne Junction.

    I enjoyed the Bodmin gala on Saturday, got a trip behind Calbourne and the well tank and then a trip out to Boscarne behind the GW 2-8-0. After riding the trains cycled up to Padstow (and then after to Newquay) along the Camel Trail. Is the railway still planning to extend up the trial back to Wadebridge? I must admit that having cycled it, it's difficult to see how both bikes and trains could be accomodated.
