OK now, the original post just said "attachement 4568" instead of showing a thumbnail.

Has she been paired with 35027's old tender yet. Might explain the two tone paint.

Yes, Wadebridge has been using Port Line's tender for a month now, this has the advantage of not leaking like a sieve. Took this about an hour ago and you can see the difference in paint, although the lining is in line!

Now that I think about it it did look like she had a smaller tender at the Spring Gala.

Still don't know whats happening with its own tender. The tank was still in the Alton headshunt this time last month. Is there not enough finance to start working on it or will it be done when the loco is withdrawn for overhaul in a few years time.

    I was wondering that too.

But i suppose it makes sense not to build a new tender at the moment as there is a spare one available to use.

The Ropley guys have three tenders to build from scratch in the future for 75079, 34007 and 34058.

It would make sense perhaps to build the two for 34007/58 together as they will share many common components.

Possibly although I think 34058 is a bit further down the queue for Ropley works.

One good thing is that the tank thats been built for 34007 is the same higher sided style as 34105's so they'll look great as a matching pair together in the future.

I think its thios style of tender thats also been produced for 34092 when she returns. Which begs another tender question. Whose did 34092's old tender used belong to was it her own thats now in a condition where it can't be used or did it belong to another Bulleid?

I wonder if the MHR would ever consider putting 34007 in SR/BR Malachite at some point in the next ticket with the different tender. Would be nice to see.

I agree the malachite would also match 925 when she enters service. I'm not fussed how 34007 will look when her tender is finally ready.

Don't forget about the Bulleid coaches that are being overhauled in Ropley carriage shed. A Light pacific in Malachite green with a few Bulleid coaches.

Anyone in the market for that.

Did that with 34081 on the Bluebell so would be up for it on the MHR. Assuming we decide on malachite again. Any plans for a 21C107 guise for Wadebridge?

Would that not mean changing the cab to the earlier design?

That's rivet counting. Blackmoor Vale carries the later V-front cab and crests, neither of which were carried when she was malachite green and the crests are a post preservation addition but I donut think too many people are worried about that. Applying the same logic would mean the removal of 4464's and 60007's Kylchap to match their current external condition and that's just two examples.
There's also the matter of 34007's cut down tender but the raves are easy to refit.

Mot my favourite livery, but Lord Nelson, Cheltenham and Wadebridge in Malachite would certainly be different....

Wadebridge received the wedge-fronted cab in May 1951, when she also received BR green. Prior to that she was in malachite but numbered initially s21C107 and then 34007.

She was numbered initially as 21C107, the S prefix being added sometime in 1948.

If 34007 was to be repainted in to Malachite green this would most probably happen at her next ten year overhaul. So surely her new tender would of been constructed by then. This tender is the high sided style of tender. With any luck the current tender behind 34007 would be required for 35005.

Is Can Pac's tender in Eastleigh now with the loco?

I was led to believe 35005 hasn't got a tender with her at Eastleigh.
