Right, who hasn't booked yet? c'mon, 48151 to York and back, 4 hours in York, only £58, a bargain, some seats left.

this train is to raise funds for the Charity that saved the station buildings at Carnforth from being demolished by Network Rail, they deserve a fully booked train for their efforts, hope some of you will consider supporting this worthy cause by either buying a ticket or making a donation, I think they deserve it.

To Book by debit card by phone, visit the website and phone the manager,

I'm grateful for coverage of this trip. I think many are holding back because of the A4, Castle and the Duchesses romps this coming week!

Mike - we don't have the benefit of Texas weather over here. Its been cold, wet, misty and grey, so only those who will shoot in any old weather go out. And we don't have gas at £2.00 a gallon - its more like £6 - that's $9 a gallon in your language!

It is still cold. I lived in the northeast for several years and the weather there was just beginning to turn nice right around now. Why are us americans complaining about gas prices?

Anyway, I would label myself as one of those who would go out to see the trains even when it is 20 degrees out. I have been called a train nut before.

48151 always seems to put on a great show. I like that 8f.

Mike you must remember we have had the Centigrade or Celcius temperature scales pushed onto us, in my opinion, by the European Union, so to us, 20 deg is a reasonable pleasant warm day of around 60F, your 20 means about -12C..
