Just watching the floating orchestra and choir. The singers deserve a medal as they are soaked through yet still giving it their all.

Wow, that's all I can say about the parade, I managed to find a dry spot in canary wharf will upload pictures shortly, though the weather made pictures muggy !
However outside my flat there is a number of ambulances, I am on the step of the launch at docklands sailing centre where many of the rowers arrived at, so I hope all is ok.

Running about 14 late approaching Reading. Behind a delayed Waterloo electric '14 minutes owing to overcrowding at Waterloo' !!! Strange that, Waterloo....2 minutes from the Thames !!!! What a surprise.

Just caught Sky News highlights. Lizzie features blowing her hooter and departing the bridge but no commentary from the Sky team on her part in the event.

Typical Sky News! The Beeb had the best coverage I think of the two, although Sky did know that she was an LMS engine. I think that was the extent of Sky's knowledge... :)

Short vid of her return, trundling through Winnersh following the horribly late Waterloo Electric 'overcrowded!) Dull miserable conditions; but plenty of red white and blue in the carriages !!!!

I did catch the BBC's as I recorded it and watched Lizzies bit earlier and thought the BBC did a good job. I've done some scouting around and MSN has no mention at all of 6201 at all. Not sure if there's anything on ITV, Channel 4 or Channel 5's news coverage but it seems unlikely.

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN is what I say. Great patriotic fervour on the Spamcan household today. Just a pity that the weather didn't play ball but then again we British don't let a little thing get in the way of a bash like this.

Reported departing Oxford on time. Interesting how well they keep to the schedule from now on.

Sky don't deserve credit for being able to read letters on a tender, as said Beeb seemed the best choice.

Sky thought that she was called LMS and that she belonged to the Queen. I'd love to know who did their research...

Whilst I like many, would love to see 6201 in any colour but maroon, today was a day if any where the engine should be LMS "royal" maroon... had it been green or blue.. it wouldnt be the same.

I liked the Beeb footage, even if they referred to 6201 as a Steam Train. After seeing the pageant, family and self caught train to Reading to see 6201 head home, looked and sounded lovely, Thames Valley Signalling Centre put her down the main. Despite the gloom at Reading I took some footage, which I've uploaded to YouTube.
