The lamb joint is smothered in Rosemary and Garlic. Jersey Royals all washed, Chartenay carrots topped and tailed, cauliflower broken into florets and the savoy cabbage waiting to be sliced.

Lamb due to go into the oven at 12.00, 2 minutes before Tangy passes Paddock Wood, which explains why I shall miss that superb steam locomotive passing through Kent this morning.

But I hope all goes well today for those on board and for those photting the train.

You must be very rich to be able to afford food like that. Can I come and live with you? :hungry:

But, as you say, for all those out and about riding or watching, I hope the weather is kind to you.

Actually bailed at clapham high st, noticed my unit only had a single yellow..
Good choice 34067 came through working very hard, full golden arrow regalia with flags and long arrow on the side.
Looks fantastic was working very hard, guess this makes it a few minutes early as it pass clapham high street at 10.59, so around 10 early at Nunhead.

47852 on the rear but only ticking over.. As it is a bulleid it was not so easy to see what's doing the work!!

Leg of lamb is currently half-price in Tesco, about £12 per leg, good value!

I'm afraid you've got it wrong, I have passed on instructions for my tea to be on the table for 5.30 sharp to enable me to out by about 6.30 to catch the returning 46233 on the Royal Scot. You need to get things organised better Bryan.

I promise to do better next time Ralph!

Lunch with my daughters and their men went very well.

And when it came to the toss up between Tangmere and Owls in the evening, the Owls won. Over on Sheppey I got closer than I have ever got to a Little Owl. He was perched just above me and I spoke to him from inside my car for ten minutes! And then I watched two Barn Owls hunting for an hour as sunset came and went.

So it has to be Tangmere's turn next time she's in Kent.

    When is that?
