It is already back in Scotland. It was used on last weeks GBV between Thornton Jn - Mallaig and back to Ashfield [Glasgow]

The NYMR visit will be later in the year - precise dates subject to confirmation. There will be a spell of Jacobite duty first.

Broken--going to Carnforth for repairs and 45407 heading North to replace it according to a nice loco owner who posts in the DimmerFree Zone.

Can't see 45407 leaving the NYMR just yet as there's no rail connection to the outside world at the moment and unlikely until the w/e. It could go by road but I doubt it.

If that is the case that means 60007 is stranded at the Nrm and can't get in to the Nymr which means it's unlikely to be able to do the Olympic torch event next week.

Slight hole in a flue tube, I believe. Logical conclusion from that is all elements and flues out.

The flues are the large tubes that the super-heater elements fit inside - is that right?
