With the Fellsman season starting this following Wednesday (July 4) I thought it would be good to get a thread for these tours. I would think that the Scot shall be powering these 1st few trips, but who knows?

Oh I think we can be fairly sure that 46115 and 48151 will be involved.

Could 61994 be an option if repairs at Carnforth are completed during the season?

So, it would appear that we will have that saloon visibly 'sticking out like a sore thumb' in an otherwise relatively uniform rake for the entire season! I, for one, won't be bothering with it!

I'm afraid it comes back to the fact that the GWR saloon makes money for the operator and loco owner, photographers at the lineside don't.
