LMS 6201 "Princess Elizabeth" (presume LE+POB) reported departed
Gloucester @ 13:42 after water stop, heading toward STJ via Lydney.

I've no idea of working whatsoever.

I'm just wondering if she is headed to Bristol for a few days to substitute for anything? Which train I don't know if so.

The way I read Sidmouths list, there's no mention of it being in order of visits from top to bottom, woulden't suprise me if the order of play was deliberatly randomised for security issues.

Just a pity any detailed timing gen is unlikely to be forthcoming, would make a lovely shot crossing the Severn at Worcester.

The royal train arrives in Hereford at 10AM, so the best plan is to get there for then, and then to see where it's going, get ahead, then film it.

Does it go to Worcester? As it says that "11.15am The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh depart (Hereford) by car"
But i would guess that it would go back to Tyseley.

Well 6201 needs to get back to Tyseley, and the Royal Train needs to get to wherever it's off to next, so what I mean is where do loco and stock part company ?.

That's a difficult one... could the roya train's class 67 pull the stock out of the station fro behind lizzie, then continue?
And I too have wondered where... do we have any evidence of where it's going from and to?
I Mean is it going from Cardiff to Hereford then Worcester, or just Hereford?

The main purpose of the Royal Train these days is to provide somewhere familiar and convenient for the Royals to stay the night, leaving them only a short journey to their first engagement the following day. My guess is that Royal Train's job tomorrow will be complete after it has dropped them off at Hereford.

Now, where are there some quiet sidings on the North and West route south of Hereford?

The main question is: what will happen to Lizzie?

I assume we're all in the same boat regarding information of the train after Her Majesty has departed the train at Hereford (?) ?
