Someone on another forum reporting hearing a train of coaching stock passing ("no kettle whistle" was quoted) Earlswood about 13:30ish, however it seems the Chesire Cat Tour ECS from yesturday may of had a lie in at Stratford before heading back to Crewe, can't confirm any of this however having not been out.

Train B did run up the North Warks yesterday. We were delayed in Stratford due to ECS "parked" in Platform 2; thence 4965 was unable to run-round until the ECS had been moved.

Not to worry - we were within a few minutes leaving Snow Hill and Train C was early back into Stratford.

    Just another day! lol

We are doing it with the pair of Panniers on 3rd November..... Regarding the SE - we have new route notes - it wouldn't do to go ahead and change it all around now! lol

    We will see what happens.....

    All,

Any more thoughts on the NatPres meeting on the SE?

If we decide on a date I can block one of our newly refurbed TSO's off for y'all.

Just let me know where and when!

    Ben

I am planning to go on that trip. Suggest we start a separate thread for a meet up in Whats Going on.

I would be up for a meet on either a Shakespeare or the pannier run. Ben, do we get a discount for a block nat pres booking?

From the main line it looked like 4965 was being prepped outside the shed today.

Thanks David, your shot is a good one too.

I enjoyed my trip today, really liked the high speed running once on the mainline north of Hatton. Well worth it for £20!

    Hi all,

Does any of you know tomorrows traction for The Shakespeare Express? Will it be the Hall (again) or will the Castle make a fine appearance? And if someone knows, could he/she share it with us?? ;-)

    Thanks in advance!

    Regards,
    Vincent
